After Nepal’s Earthquake, Emotional Care Should Be a Priority

A series of photos taken in the aftermath of the earthquake, in and around Kathmandu - by Lieve Blancqaert, a Belgian photographer and filmmaker. The photographer was in Nepal for a documentary about child marriage, in cooperation with Belgian national TV and Plan Belgium, when the earthquake struck.  The urgency relief shown in the pictures are not necessarily provided by Plan.

Here is an article written by Donal McConnon, the musician who traveled to Rwanda in January 2015 with Clowns Without Borders Ireland, which was published in The Journal in January shortly after the tour finished.  It had over 11,000 views.  Impressive!
